First lesson without an account

Before, you had to create an account just to see what a lesson looks like. Now the sign-up screen has a Try a lesson without an account button: it takes you straight to the exercises of the first lesson, with instant feedback and a step-by-step solution for every mistake.

If you like it, create your account at the end of the lesson and the XP you earned goes into your path, along with the day’s streak. The result is kept on your device for a few hours, so you do not have to decide right away.

  2. 2x=8\displaystyle 2x = 8
  3. x=82\displaystyle x = \frac{8}{2}
  4. x=4\displaystyle x = 4

Answer x=4\displaystyle x = 4

Every missed question comes with a step-by-step solution, like this equation.

Sign in without a password

There is no longer a password to create or to forget. There are two ways to sign in:

  1. With Google, in one tap.
  2. With your email: you type your address, get a code and confirm it on screen.

If you sign in with Google and do not have an account yet, it is created right there, without another form.

Supporter badge

Math Mental is free, has no ads and runs on voluntary support. Supporters now get a rosette next to their name, in the league and in the path leaderboard:

  • lilac rosette for a one-time contribution;
  • gold rosette for an active monthly contribution.

Your account also shows since when you have been a supporter. The badge is only a thank-you: it does not unlock content or give any advantage in the league.

Sign-up in the site's language

The Math Mental site is available in Portuguese, English, Spanish, Chinese, French and Hindi. If you read an article in Spanish and click to get started, sign-in and sign-up now open in Spanish too, with no need to switch languages afterwards. You can still change the language at any time in your account settings.
